The Eufy S1 Pro has been designed to be a powerful mop and vacuum combo that is also user-friendly. The base station, which is gunmetal-colored, is self-emptying and it fills its own tank with clean water, automatically empties the dust bin into a smaller container it washes and dry its own mop pad between cleaning sessions. It also has an advanced feature set that allows it to switch between hard and rugs effectively removing dirt and pet hair from carpets and the thresholds of rooms that are raised.
The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping, thanks to its internal dToF system. It can keep a low-profile while still providing top-notch detection of objects. It drives close to walls without hitting them and avoids steps, and can also raise its mop when driving over rugs and short-pile carpets. However, it struggled with longer-pile carpets and some long, thick messes of dried-on debris.
The S1 Pro is ready to be used right out of the box, and it requires only an easy mapping session to discover your home. The map will be displayed in the app and you can add or merge rooms as needed. You can set virtual boundaries, as well as no-go or no-mop zones if there's something you do not want the robot to get into.
